State of Ethos
: what a ride, this life. We wear the scars to prove it. And State of Ethos was founded as though it were one of those scars. This company is every ride we’ve ever taken, every unknown trail, every broke-down bike, every missed turn magic sunset and sideways night adventure we’ve ever lived...all rolled into one.

We are filmmakers, photographers, artists, designers, and craftsman, bursting over with the inspiration of everything. We are men, we are women, we are human. We were raised in the deserts and shorelines of Southern California and Baja, Mexico. Yes, we are a brand, constructing durable, functional casual and technical wear with a timeless aesthetic you could wear through hell and back. We prefer life unpaved. But we’ll take a skateboard in New York. A surfboard in Indo. A snowboard in the Alps. Mountain bikes wherever. Two wheels are best. Off-road, half-lost, and fully fanged. Whether it’s exploring our own backyards or adventure traveling the far side of the globe, we’re ready to roll, with a beat up novel in our ruck-sack and camera in our hand. This is who we are.
